•He is also the chairman of the International Advisory Panel of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and was a former member of its Council.

Experience

•Chartered accountant in the ‘70s with Deloitte Haskins & Sells in London.

•Joined Casson Beckman, a leading mid-tier firm of chartered accountants in London, in 1979, becoming its executive chairman.

•Responsible for several key mergers undertaken by that firm and ultimately initiated and coordinated its merger in 1997 with Baker Tilly in the UK

•He became CEO and president of Baker Tilly International in 2000 focusing on its growth and strategic and acquisitive development. Geoff  was the CEO and president of Baker Tilly International the past 16 years.

•Under his leadership, the Baker Tilly network has grown its combined revenues from $900 million to $3.8 billion and its coverage from 59 countries to more than 140.

•Geoff received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB).
