Savvas is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
He holds a BSc in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Westminster, London UK.
He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and a member of the Institutes’ International Operations and Foreign Investments Committee.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cyprus since 2016.
He is the International Business Leader for the Baker Tilly South East Europe.

Experience

Savvas joined Baker Tilly in 2012 and worked in the Audit Department in Cyprus for 3 years where he gained experience in the audit engagements of investment holdings and has led audits of trading companies.
Since joining the Tax Advisory Services department, he has experience in international tax planning, structuring operations and group structures for international clients in the oil and gas industry, the banking and financial industry the construction and hotel industry and service industries etc., and his clients included major local and international groups
